Finding the right kind of puzzle
"Puzzle" is the broadest label a game can carry, so this hub is organised by what the puzzle asks of you. Brain and logic games want deduction; math games want arithmetic under a little pressure; jigsaws and block games want spatial sense; trivia wants recall; merge and number games such as the 2048 family want planning a few moves ahead. The sections below split the inventory along those lines, each with the games the catalog currently holds for it.
Two neighbours are kept on their own pages because searchers ask for them by name: match-3 games, which are puzzles of colour and timing rather than logic, and word games, which depend on language. Escape rooms and hidden-object hunts sit under escape games.
Playing puzzles in a browser
Puzzle games are the genre least affected by hardware: most run on a phone exactly as they do on a desktop, and many are mouse- or tap-only, which makes them the safest choice on a shared or older machine. Progress is stored locally by each game, so finishing a level and coming back later works as long as you use the same browser.
If a level stalls you, the game's own page on Noxiplay lists its controls and, for the titles we have written about, a short set of tips.
What is the difference between a puzzle game and a brain game?

On this site "brain" is one sub-genre inside puzzles: games that test memory, attention or deduction directly, often with a score per round. Puzzle is the wider group and also includes jigsaws, math, trivia and block games.
Do puzzle games save my progress?

Each game keeps its own progress in the browser's local storage, so it survives closing the tab as long as you return in the same browser on the same device. Clearing site data resets it; there is no account-based cloud save.
